Battle of the Moisturizers

Origins Ginzing Energy Boosting Moisturizer vs Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet

I made a trip to Sephora recently and picked up two point perks. I’ve had really dry skin lately with the seasons changing and I wanted to find a good moisturizer to fix the problem!

The first one I tried was Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet. I by no means hate this, but it fell very flat for me. The smell is very plain which some people might like but for me is just meh. The texture of this isn’t smooth. It’s almost lumpy and although it does smooth out once applied, it uses a lot of product to cover your face. I also felt that my face didn’t gain a lot of moisture from this moisturizer.
I then tried the Origins Ginzing Brightening Moisturizer. This product is amazing. It smells like citrus which I love to wake me up in the morning! It is so smooth and spreads out very evenly, meaning you only need a little product to cover your face. It also kept my face feeling moisturized all day. I didn’t even feel the need to use it the next day but I did cause it feels and smells so nice to put on.

Neither of these products cost me a thing. But I would only pay money for the Origins moisturizer. It is amazing!

Thanks for reading!
